Historic motorsport enthusiasts were treated to a packed 11-race programme with highlights including the highly-anticipated debut of the Club’s new Premier Cru Racing series where Nick Topliss’ R4A raced to victory and Matt Grist won from the back of the grid in HWM Jaguar ‘HWM 1’.
Meanwhile Fred Harper in the Kurtis Kraft overcame a problematic morning practice to claim the Amschel Rothschild Trophy. We're looking forward to the drivers taking part in the Chateau Impney Hill Climb this July and their results at Spring Start are testament to their competitive spirit.
Alongside all the action on track, the day-long meeting offered free access to the paddock, where spectators were able to get up close to the cars and drivers.
You can view the full results here and more photos of the day on the VSCC website.
