Vintage Fun for All the Family

Take a break from the action on the track and experience the thrill of the fair at our very own vintage funfair.

Our ever-popular traditional Vintage Funfair returned to the Chateau Impney Hill Climb once again!

Located in the Riverbank South area of the Chateau grounds, the funfair has a range of traditional British rides that is sure to delight both children and adults alike.

Keeping in line with our motorsport heritage, we were excited to have the dodgems for the first time at the 2018 event. Everyone could hop into the driver’s seat and race around, crashing into your friends and family, which is all part of the fun!

If you’re willing to brave the dizzying heights of the Helter Skelter, this classic funfair slide is one of the finest original helter-skelters in the country and will be returning to the Chateau Impney once more.

For those who prefer to take things at a gentler pace, you can ride on the oldest travelling Ferris wheel in the UK and enjoy a bird’s eye view of the whole site. This Ferris wheel was built in 1922, and was imported to England for prominent 1920’s showman Pat Collins. It has been travelling the country ever since as one of the most popular rides at the fair.

All the rides at the vintage funfair are free of charge, and are suitable for all ages – even if you’re a grown-up! *

Don’t forget to try your hand at the Honesberie Shooting School air gun sharpshooter experience too – will you be the best shot of the day? Please note that a small charge will apply for the sharpshooter experience.

*Please note that height restrictions may apply.
