Chateau Impney Hill Climb was proud to be host the second round of Ralli 22 in July! Following the success and the popularity of the Group B rally cars at the 2017 event, a large selection of the rarest and the best Group A, B, and WRC cars in the country competed against the clock, and they will now continue on to the third stage of the competition.
David Wright won this stage of the competition with a time of 42.08 seconds in the ex- Carlos Sainz Ford Focus. We wish all Ralli 2 2 competitors the best of luck at the next stage of the competition.
Some of the highlights in attendance included the stunning Subaru Impreza WRC that Colin McRae raced to victory at the RAC Rally GB in 1997, the Ford Escort WRC that was raced by current Dakar rally champion Carlos Sainz, and the Hyundai Accent WRC driven by Freddy Loix in the 2002 New Zealand Rally.
