Beating his nearest rival by over a second in the Pre-1961 Sports and Sports Racing Cars Over 2200cc category, in a time of 46.12 seconds, Tony said: “It was good to win the class, although I do normally win most classes that we enter with the Farrallac.”
Tony had nothing but praise for the Chateau Impney Hill Climb weekend. He said: “It was a terrific event, a lot of effort went into it. I think it would be difficult to improve. We really enjoyed it just as it was and wouldn’t like to see it change in the future.”
