Amilcar Hispano Special Takes Class Win at 2015 Event

Wednesday 15 June 2016

In our latest video, we follow Tom Walker up the Hill Climb course in the Amilcar Hispano Special at last year?s event.

The Amilcar Hispano Special was just one of several impressive aero-engined cars at the inaugural Chateau Impney Hill Climb. Composed of a 1916 12-litre Hispano Suiza V8 engine mounted into a 1930 Amilcar chassis frame, the Amilcar Hispano Special was certainly one of the more unusual cars to compete at the Chateau last year, and held its own against Matt Grist’s Alfa Romeo Tipo B P3 and Julian Grimwade’s Frazer Nash Norris Special.
