Matt Grist (number 133) drove the fastest time in Pre-1940 Racing Cars over 3000cc class in the Alfa Romeo Tipo B P3, recording 46.82 seconds, shaving nearly two seconds off his time in practice.
Matt said: “It was a good run, yesterday I missed the first corner, but today I was more consistent. I took my time to learn the course - yesterday I did the whole course in 1st gear, but today I drove it all in 2nd, which seemed to work better.
“It was surprisingly dry this morning, but I didn’t know it was dry until I’d finished the course! Hopefully it will dry out a bit more for this afternoon and I can knock another second off my time.”
