“The weekend is getting better and better each year! It is the only hill climb that we compete in and we do so due to the family atmosphere it has. It is also local for all our family and friends to come and enjoy. It was great that Jack was able to secure FTD again and it truly is becoming a family tradition for us.”
It was another Class 11 win for Mark Woodhouse, with a time of 43.18 seconds. Mark entered the Elva FJ 100 into the pre-1961 racing cars up to 1500cc Class. Mark was over 1.5 seconds quicker than the rest of his class, setting the pace for the competition!
“I was thrilled to have a third win in a row, it was just a shame that I couldn’t improve on my time, which was down to a mistake I made.”
We look forward to continuing this family tradition in 2018!
The Chateau Impney Hill Climb 2018 will be held on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 July.
