First founded in 1979 in Coventry, Listers has since grown to become one of the biggest automotive businesses in the UK. The Droitwich dealership attended the inaugural Hill Climb last year, and was keen to get involved with 2016’s event.
Rod Spollon, event director of the Chateau Impney Hill Climb, is pleased that the Hill Climb had such a positive impact on Listers: “Listers joined us last year as corporate hospitality guests, and through attending the event, their enthusiasm for the Hill Climb grew so much that they wanted to become a larger part of the 2016 event.
“Listers are a great example of a local business that has a keen interest in local events, and we’re delighted to be working with them at the Chateau Impney Hill Climb in 2016,” Rod concluded.
If you attended the event in July, you may have spotted the Listers display at the inaugural Hill Climb, which featured incredible new Land Rovers and Jaguars. As part of their sponsorship, they’ll have an amazing range of cars on display at the 2016 event, seven of which you’ll be able to see parading up the Hill Climb course as part of our lunchtime demonstrations.
We’ll be announcing further details about the cars that will be taking part in the demonstration runs over the coming months, so keep checking the blog and our social media channels to find out more.
