Although Jack had been achieving fantastic results in the Formula Junior historic racing circuit, he had never taken part in a hill climb event before his spectacular run at Chateau Impney.

In his Lotus 20/22, Jack went ahead to achieve the fastest time on the practice day, wowing the crowds and setting a precedent for what was to come. On the competition day, Jack didn’t disappoint – he kept his cool and topped the tables with a time of 42.42 seconds.
