Ewan Cameron (number 185), driving the Hale Morgan in the Racing Cars up to 1500cc pre-1961 category, recorded 49.18 in practice yesterday, but 55.43 seconds in wet conditions in competition this morning. He is currently lying a respectable 6th in Class 13.
Ewan said: “It was very slippy, there’s not a lot of grip with only one wheel at the back. It felt slow - I was the fastest Morgan in the class yesterday, but I don’t think I was today.”
