On Saturday 14 November, 110 members and guests of The ERA Club will travel to Chateau Impney to celebrate the achievements of their members throughout the year.
Over half of the world’s remaining ERAs competed in the inaugural Chateau Impney Hill Climb, and their drivers will be looking forward to seeing if they have won any of the coveted ERA Club awards. We’re pleased to welcome back Marcus Pye, who commentated on all the track action at the Hill Climb in July, to the Chateau as the guest of honour for the evening.
Everyone arriving for the dinner will be greeted by the ex-Earl Howe ERA, R8C, which will be on display in the foyer. R8C was featured on static display at the Hill Climb’s Concours d’Elegance, where spectators got the opportunity to see the famed racing car up close and learn about its extensive racing history. There will also be a display of pictures, prints and books from The Paint Box gallery in Worcester.
We wish the very best of luck to all ERA competitors who are in the running for the awards at this year’s dinner, and we hope that everyone has a fantastic time at Chateau Impney this weekend. Check the Hill Climb blog, Facebook or Twitter to find out who scooped what next week!
