Briony, who went around the roundabout twice yesterday during the practice, managed to find her way around the course a little better today. She said “I’m just grateful that I managed to find my way around this time! Now I know the course a little better, I can go a little faster in the afternoon. But I’ve had a great day, and it’s been really fun so far this weekend.”
Husband Philip, auctioneer and regular antiques expert on BBC’s Bargain Hunt, has been there to cheer her on this afternoon, and was very impressed by the Chateau event. He said “Going to an event like this, it’s like seeing a Chippendale chair, the Mona Lisa and a Royal Worcester vase racing 100mph on a beautiful course!
“It’s just a lovely event, and a huge privilege to be involved with something like this. We look forward to coming back next year.”
