Vendor Profile: Bare Bones Pizza

Friday 20 March 2015

The next vendor to join us for the Hill Climb in July is Bare Bones Pizza. They're a local, family-run business that sells traditional wood-fired pizzas with a twist.

Our background …
The founder of Bare Bones Pizza, Mike Evans, is Droitwich born and bred. We’ve got a long association with Chateau Impney – Mike’s very first job was as a hall porter at the hotel, while he was still at school.

At the Hill Climb, you can expect …
A selection of traditional Neopolitan wood-fired pizzas, freshly cooked to order at 700F in our converted Citröen Relay van.

You should pay us a visit because …
The high standard of our food and the interesting way we cook our pizzas is sure to turn heads at the Hill Climb.

Our outdoor catering essentials …
As long as we’ve got level ground to work on, we can trade pretty much anywhere.

We’re excited to be part of the Hill Climb because …
Having lived at the Chateau for six years and cut his teeth in the hospitality trade there, being involved with the Hill Climb is like coming home for Mike. He never would have dreamed he could be back there, cooking pizzas in the back of his very own food truck!

We’re most looking forward to …
The vintage cars, of course, and lots of hungry customers!
