Vendor Profile: Avoncroft Edwardian Tea Room

Sunday 19 April 2015

The Edwardian Tea Room at Avoncroft Museum will be on hand at the Hill Climb, offering visitors their traditional afternoon teas al fresco in our historical setting.

Our background …
Our award-winning Tea Room has been serving delicious traditional food and drink at the Avoncroft Museum of Historic Buildings near Bromsgrove for more than 50 years.

Situated in 19 acres of beautiful grounds, Avoncroft was England’s first open-air museum, spanning 700 years of life in the Midlands with a collection of 30 rescued buildings and structures. We were recently awarded Destination Worcestershire’s ‘Best Tourism Experience’ in 2014 and hold TripAdvisor ‘Certificates of Excellence’ for 2013 and 2014.

At the Hill Climb, you can expect …
Our delicious, traditional afternoon teas, together with a fizz option for a more indulgent treat.

You should pay us a visit because …
The Tea Room recaptures the atmosphere of a bygone age, much like the Hill Climb itself.

Our outdoor catering essentials …
A great atmosphere and lots and lots of hot water!

We’re excited to be part of the Hill Climb because …
We know a thing or two about history at Avoncroft and feel right at home when it comes to all things vintage.

We’re most looking forward to …
Meeting the spectators and seeing all the cars in action.
