Malcolm Thorne has set a new course record of 38.86 seconds!
In his Lotus 35 F2, Malcolm has shaved off half a second from the record set in 2017 by fellow competitor Jack Woodhouse.
Second place was taken by Martin Jones in a Brabham BT 21B who finished with a very quick time of 39.95. With over a whole second between first and second place, Malcolm’s time is even more impressive.
Third place was taken by Justin Maeers in his Lola T70 MKII, with a time of 41.38 seconds, and all the competitors pushed their cars to their limits.
Congratulations to Malcolm and we hope to see him returning to defend his title in 2019!
