Army Activities
For this year, we introduced a range of activities brought to us by the local Army Regiment, including a climbing wall and display unit!
G-Tech Sports Village
New for 2017, was our Sports Village, containing a range of activities and sports for you to try throughout the weekend! With activities from Worcester Warriors, Worcester Wolves and G-Tech amongst more, there will be plenty of fun for all the family.
Land Rover Experience
Land Rover Experience returned to the Chateau Impney Hill Climb this summer. You were able to get a taste of the Land Rover Experience in the hands of a skilled instructor, where you'd have seen the capabilities of the fantastic Range Rover vehicles up-close!
The Land Rover Experience at Eastnor lets you get behind the wheel of a new Land Rover for a unique, adrenaline-fuelled driving session. During a Land Rover Experience, you’ll discover what it’s like to tackle almost any terrain with confidence, with a range of different adventures on offer.
Honesberie Shooting
We also offered the Honesberie Shooting School air gun sharpshooter experience, where you could try your hand at shooitng and see if you were the best shot of the day.
Vintage Fun Fair
Located in the Riverbank area of the Chateau grounds, our spectacular vintage funfair has a range of traditional British rides that is sure to excite both children and adults alike.
At our funfair, you can ride on the oldest travelling Ferris wheel in the UK. It was built in America in 1922 and then imported to England for prominent 1920s showman Pat Collins. It has been travelling around the country ever since as one of the most popular rides at the fair.
Alongside this is a carousel – built in 1952, it features two centaurs alongside its classic galloping horses, which were commissioned to celebrate Queen Elizabeth’s II’s ascension to the throne.
However, if it’s speed you’re after, then don’t miss the helter-skelter! One of the finest examples of original helter-skelters in the country, this classic funfair slide is fun for all the family.
All of the rides at the vintage funfair are free of charge, and are suitable for all ages – even if you’re a grown-up!*
