Founded in 1993 as a specialist auction house dedicated solely to the sale of collectors’ motorcars and motorcycles, H&H; has handled the sale of everything from 1890s London to Brighton runners through to 1990s Formula 1 cars.

Considered one of the world’s leading auction houses, the company holds a considerable number of world record auction prices and is part of an elite group of auction houses that have sold a car for over $10 million.

Overseen by managing director and chief auctioneer, Simon Hope, H&H is staffed by a dedicated collective of specialists and enthusiasts, all with an unrivalled knowledge and passion for all areas of historic motoring.

A collector since his university days, Simon has over thirty years’ experience of auctioning specialist commodities and has owned a wide variety of roadgoing and competition machinery.

An avid competitor, he has taken part in prestigious events as the Mille Miglia Storica, Le Mans Classic, Monaco Historics and Goodwood Revival. He added the Chateau Impney Hill Climb to this illustrious list when he competed in the inaugural event in 2015.

Based in the north west of England, H&H holds regular sales in prestigious venues across the UK, including the Imperial War Museum Duxford, The Pavilion Gardens Buxton, Chateau Impney and the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts’ Club Annual Concours & Rally.
