An array of rare and unique vehicles was available to buy at the H&H classic car auction at 2016’s event, with cars being displayed both in the auction hall and the Regent Exhibition. The auction hall was packed with potential bidders throughout the day, as spectators were able to get up close and view the cars before taking a seat for the main event.
The star lots of the day included the 1966 Costin-Nathan prototype, which sold for double the guide price at £71,000, and the 1949 Cadillac Series 75 Fleetwood Sedan, known as the JFK Cadillac, which sold for £34,500. Slightly more modern classics went under the hammer at a great price, including the no-reserve 1984 Ford Capri 2.8i, which sold for £5,100, and the 1984 Audi Quattro that sold for £11,000. Many cars were also purchased after the auction via private sale.
