First to face the climb was the Pre-1940 Standard and Modified Sports Cars Unsupercharged up to 1500cc class, paving the way for a weekend of fantastic competition. Simon Blakeney-Edwards took the class win in his Frazer Nash Super Sports with a time of 50.81 seconds.
