HDLCC Are On the Hunt for Marshals

Wednesday 17 February 2016

Hagley & District Light Car Club are looking out for new marshals to join their enthusiastic squad of volunteers.

If you’ve attended a motorsport event recently, there’s no doubt that you will have spotted the ‘orange army’, making sure that the event is safe for everyone involved. Marshalling at a hill climb is not only a great way to get close to the action, but an important part of every event, and ensures that club-level motorsport can be enjoyed for years to come.

No club can ever have too many marshals, and Hagley & District Light Car Club are putting out a call for more people to join their team. No experience or equipment is necessary, and several taster days take place at Loton Park throughout the year so that you can find out more about marshalling. If you join the HDLCC marshal team, you’ll also have the opportunity to take part at other events – for example, several experienced HDLCC marshals will be joining us at the Chateau Impney Hill Climb!

If you’d like to marshal for HDLCC, please contact chief marshal Adrian Mudge by emailing chiefmarshal@hdlcc.com. You can find out more on the HDLCC website.
